Default RE: New PC

Well, Dick Watson, Bless you!!

I had (honest) considered 2-clicking my Money file, but frankly I didn't
want to do ANYTHING because I didn't have the guts.

Sounds like you are on the right track. This operation needn't be rocket
science.

Where did you put the Money file on the Vista machine? Documents is good.

Does Money open its sample file?

How did you move the data file? Via a burned CD? Did you un-set read only
after pasting in the file from the CD?

Have you tried double-clicking on the .MNY file? And what, exactly happened?
And what were you expecting to happen?

Default New PC

Hello,

I have used Money Deluxe 2006 on a Windows XP PC for a few years. I just
purchased a new PC, with Vista Home Premium. I installed the old Money
Deluxe 2006 disks, and I copied my .MNY file to the new PC too. It ain't
that simple!

So, independent of what I have already done, what is the procedure for being
able to work with my old data on my new PC?
