| I have just changed from XP to Vista and experienced difficulty in getting my money 2005 program to accept a backup file from my old XP computer. After following the information provided in your article, the file opened without any problem. Another thing to try is run a backup on the old machine. Take the backup> XP > pc to a new Vista pc. I have loaded Money 2005 from disk to the new pc - > but > it will not allow me to load back-up Money files from the old pc. Using > QIF > export/import caused several duplicate entries! !! file and "restore" it on the new machine. That is what I had to do to move my money file to a new machine with Vista. |

| Is there an easy way to move the ENTIRE MS Money database from my existing XP pc to a new Vista pc. I have loaded Money 2005 from disk to the new pc - but it will not allow me to load back-up Money files from the old pc. Using QIF export/import caused several duplicate entries! !! |
