| I can confirm I just installed SpySweeper and Money is now disabled. I have tried disabling Spysweeper but that did not restore Money. (In fact I can't even reload Money from my CD.) I hate to completely unistall Spysweeper but I guess I will have to. | This is a compatibility problem with some recent update that Spysweeper made They are aware of it, but it may be worthwhile for others that have the same problem to contact Webroot as well. Until Webroot gets this fixed (or provide a work-around), the only real option is to not use Spysweeper. -Mark "cyberacct" <cyberacct[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:62E92249-E639-4C8B-A461-87CC78C1D467[at]microsoft.com... - quote - > Mark, > I have the same problem as Martha. | Mark, I have the same problem as Martha. I have had Money Plus Deluxe on my computer since Dec-2007 with Webroot Spysweeper and other anti-virus programs as well. I have had not a single problem with updating these programs and my Money Plus Deluxe program working until just a few weeks ago when I received the same error as Martha, "Unable to load the registration library". I contacted a Microsoft Money techinical support person who had me uninstall/ reinstall Money in a clean boot enviroment. The program worked fine that day only. I opend the program today and the same problem. Considering that it worked fine for 6 months with all of my other programs, to me this indicates a problem with the software and NOT my computer. If they tell me I have to uninstall/ reinstall again. I probably will drop Money even though I have used it for over 10 yrs. I have never had a problem with any Money programs until this one. Since I have installed Money Plus Dexule on my computer, I have had 4 major problems including the current one which have required technical support with this new supposedly update program. | Did you just install or update a SpySweeper? Disable/uninstall it, then try reinstalling Money Plus. -Mark "Martha" <Martha[at]discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:ED0C8A98-8658-445C-8981-7775091351F2[at]microsoft.com... - quote - > Money Plus Deluxe has suddenly stopped working. | Money Plus Deluxe has suddenly stopped working. When I start it, I get a message about Accepting the Online Services Agreement (which I already did when I installed it - or so I thought) and when I click Accept, it says "Money was unable to load the registration library (dll)" and boots me out. When I run sample.mny, I get the same thing. Is there some new "feature" since I last used it on 7/13/08 with no problem? I am using XP Home - if that matters. |
