So really your question was about Fidelity Investments.> ability. But several of my investment brokerages, like Fidelity, do not > offer the ability to download a Money file. They require you to connect via > Money. I can say that having a LiveID on your file is not necessary to get statements from Fidelity. If you disable background banking and remove the LiveID from the file, I don't think you would get any messages regarding background banking. See the first item in Tools-> Settings. I am not saying that you are going to get statements from Fidelity with Money 2005, but not having background banking enabled is not going to affect that. You would click UpdateNow from the AccountList or use the Tools-> InternetUpdates to trigger updating. So I am not addressing whether Money 2005 is going to get your Fidelity statements after expiration. You will figure that out, and I don't have Money 2005 installed. I know that you know you could easily upgrade to Money Plus and get another two years of downloads (which you could precede with the trial version for a couple more months), including background banking if you wanted. - quote - > "Cal Learner-- MVP" wrote: > > In microsoft.public.money, Steve wrote: > > > > Is there a way to update account information via the internet, on Money 2005, > > > now that it is out of support?
