Money is heavily localized for each region where Money is sold. So the US
version cannot read an UK file. Your error message implies the above.

Do you have the *.mny file or the *.mbf file. Each should work.

If that error message is "incompatible version", you will need Money
2005 from the original country to open your file.

Default Back-up 2005 to 2006 Deluxe

I have just purchased Money 2006 deluxe and want to back-up my 2005 file onto
this program. The program keeps telling me that the back-up file is not
compatible. Is there anyway I can transfer all or part of this data to 2006?
Help please. I uninstalled 2005 and no longer having a working disc.
