| I believe an example exists in the newsgroup's FAQ. It's essentially do the Exercise to put money i n a cash account. Then make a payment for the taxes from the cash account. You can then either transfer the cash to your checking account or buy the underlying stock from the cash account, depending on your individual action. I've been doing it that way for over 10 years with no problems. | Hello- I have an ESPP with UBS, and when I did an exercise & sell of some options recently they took taxes out (Fed, State, Medicare & FICA). The form for entering the 'Exercise & Sell' has no way to deduct taxes from the transaction, or am I just missing it? What is the best way to record the tax payments? Thanks in advance! Matt |
