| I was sort of hoping that there were some specific files I could delete or registry edits I could make. Surely the trial start and expiration information must be stored somewhere on the computer. I am perfectly willing to start a brand new data file since I don't have any existing data anyways. Was hoping to just use the free trial on the same computer and use it for the trial period to convince my wife that it would help us out keeping our finances straight and then we could buy it. She isn't convinced that it would be useful for her yet, so I need her to try it for a month or two. -Craig "Glyn Simpson, MVP" wrote: - quote - > Should have added: > http://www.microsoft.com/windows/pro...c/default.mspx > (You'll need to install Windows into it - recommend you don't activate it > though). > -- > Glyn Simpson, Microsoft MVP - Money > http://money.mvps.org > See http://money.mvps.org/faq/default.aspx for tips and fixes for MS Money. > To send Microsoft your product wishes see http://money.mvps.org/wishes.aspx > I do not respond to any unsolicited email regarding Money > "Glyn Simpson, MVP" <glyn.simpson[at]nogmailspam_.com> wrote in message > news:A25237F3-B4C7-4ACC-B425-A780886FCC21[at]microsoft.com... > > If you're confident in setting up Virtual PC, you can run it in that > > environment, although you'll probably need to use a completely clean money > > file. | If you're confident in setting up Virtual PC, you can run it in that environment, although you'll probably need to use a completely clean money file. | I had previously installed the trial version of Money Plus Deluxe, but never had time to actually try it out before it expired. Now I would like to try it and it keeps telling me that my trial has expired. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I have also tried deleting the old .mny file. I even trie using a different Microsoft Live account. Nothing is working to reset the trial time. Is there anything I can do? I want to try it out and show it to my wife for a couple of months before we pay for the software. Is there anything I can do to reset the trial period and start over from the beginning? Thanks, -Craig |
