| Hi SteveB, I would like to do this online, that's why I mentioned msn money. I somehow can't get the money portfolio on money central. Using the pendrive is not neat, one has to be very cautious to make a copy after each and every entry and remember and paste the cop on the other computer before adding anything on it. thats why I would prefer the online solution, so I am using the same file at both places. I read in the Money 2007 user guide that it is posible, and have followed the steps but can't get the portfolio online. Below is the text from the user guide. Chapter 11: Anytime, Anywhere Access to Your Money 2007 Data The more you want to see your account transactions away from home, the more you'll want to use Money 2007 to access them. Whether you're away on business or on vacation, you can securely access all your current account information anytime, anywhere. Accessing your Money 2007 data on the Internet Many of the online resources of Microsoft Money 2007 use MSN Money My Accounts on the Microsoft Money Web site "SteveB" wrote: - quote - > Roshlin wrote: > > Hi friends, > > > I would like to use my money 2007 portfolio from my home and office, > > Is there any way to achive that, > > I would like to view and make changes from both places. > You can do this, but you'll have to be extremely rigorous about moving > your file back and forth. > Money assumes one user/one PC. Money assumes one user/one PC. The database has no features for multiple access or synchronizing multiple copies. You can copy your file back and forth, always being sure to copy the new version on top of the old version. If you get it wrong, at best you will lose your recent entries. At worst, you will corrupt your database. You will also have to wait for Money to finish its update every time you exit. I would put the database on a USB stick. Also make lots of backups. -- Steve Bell New Life Home Improvement Arlington, TX |
