This may be symptomatic of the MEss design philosophy that you use it because you really just want to aggregate data from the banks' web sites. That avoids the problem of you putting it in wrong. After all, the bank knows best. Well, I also found, once I had an account pulled up, that Other Tasks has a Change Account Settings, however, that lets me touch everything BUT the BB. Another way you could adjust the beginning balance is to enter a transaction for an adjustment. I think you can still enter transactions by hand in MEss.
