| "pre-installed" should have been the giveaway. | Dick - the 'other poster' assumed wrongly, that the person had actually purchased a copy of Money, in which case, as you correctly point out, it is 'quite legal, to place the application on both a laptop and a desktop machine. | You don't. You need the CD. M04 Deluxe is licensed for a desktop and a laptop and is less than $20 with careful shopping and after rebate hassles. And, if the Money license that came pre-installed on your laptop is the one you want to put on your desktop, almost certainly the other poster's input that it's "quite legal" is quite wrong: the OEM licenses are almost always tied exclusively to the specific machine the license was obtained with. (One reason you didn't get a regular installation CD.) "Jay" <jprill[at]wi.rr.com> wrote in message news:1c2701c3841c$fea0af00$a101280a[at]phx.gbl... - quote - > I'm not worried about that. | I'm not sure what your worry is - it is quite legal to have Money installed on your desktop and your laptop.
