| Closing the account doesn't affect online updates, unfortunately. You will have to discontinue Updates for WaMu, then add them back. Before you do this, make sure that WaMu has really closed the account or it will download and setup again. When you set up the WaMu accounts, be sure to select the 7-day download or else you will get all of your transactions redownloaded and have to spend some time matching them up. I actually have a closed account with one of my banks and I just ignore it as I haven't wanted to bother with fixing it. I went to Account Settings for the closed account and checked "This account has been closed," but when I do an update it still tries to update that account and I get an "Update unsuccessful" error. The other 2 open accounts update fine, as expected. How can I prevent Money from trying to update the closed account? If I try to change the "Online Services" info for the closed account, it affects the 2 open accounts as well, because they are all WaMu. |
