Short answer: No

Money shows the transactions in the order in which they were entered,
within the sort you have selected. e.g. You sort by date, Money adds a
sub-sort of the entry order.

Every transaction has a hidden "transaction number" (TN) to keep it
unique from every other transaction. This prevents errors when you do
something like make two identical deposits on the same day. When you
download data from the bank, Money adds the TN as the transactions are
loaded. The person at the bank who wrote the code for the statement is
probably not the person who wrote the code for the download function, so
the transactions wind up in a different order--thus your issue. (Note:
This is speculation based on my experience with database development.)

Workaround:
Enter the transactions yourself in the order you want to see them. When
you download later, your entry order trumps the bank's entry order.

Default Reorder items in the account register?

I imported the files from my bank and the register is out of order causing my
balances to be incorrect when reconciling the account.

for example here is my bank statement

3/3 transaction 1
3/3 trasaction 2
3/4 Transaction 3
3/4 Transaction 4

however money is not display the order they were entered on the statement
backwards.

3/3 trasaction 2
3/3 transaction 1
3/4 Transaction 4
3/4 Transaction 3

This makes my balances is incorrect because its adding and deducting from
the incorrect subtotals from the previous lines. I cant find anyway to
reorder the transactions and i dont want to delete and re-enter them. Is
there a way to shuffle around the lien items order in the register?

Thanks
