Money does not have that ability.> investments in the portfolio view using your own custom grouping? > For example, my broker lets me create groups such as Gold, Energy, > Large Cap, etc. I then assign any position to those groups. It would be nice if you could maybe have something like "%a%=gold %b%=Fred" included in the menu and have Money group by a selected custom string. Memo is from the Comments field of the investment details. You can sort by the Memo column now, but that does not subtotal. |

| I'm using Money Plus Deluxe (2008). Is there a way to group investments in the portfolio view using your own custom grouping? For example, my broker lets me create groups such as Gold, Energy, Large Cap, etc. I then assign any position to those groups. Money seems to force you to use its groups and then auto allocates on what it believes the positions are (equities, funds, options, etc). I'd like to have more of a drag/drop and full control over the grouping. I'd like each grouping to display a dollar total and percent allocation on each of its holdings. Thanks. |
