| There have been only one or two features of ANY consequence introduced in M06, M07, and M+ since M05 was released for the UK. This particular feature has been there more or less for at least a decade. <Johanna.Nes[at]googlemail.com> wrote in message news:b7e4b272-368a-4e32-b36f-e21b1802a115[at]s50g2000hsb.googlegroups.com... - quote - > Since I am in the UK I am "forced" to use version 2005 which seems to > miss some of the particularly user friendly features that were > introduced later... | Thanks Chris! I've entered some more information this evenining and it's all becoming clearer now. I will check the settings. Since I am in the UK I am "forced" to use version 2005 which seems to miss some of the particularly user friendly features that were introduced later... Hope this one isn't one of them! Jo |

In Money Plus (08): Tools> Settings> Account Settings (global)> Transaction entry options> Use AutoComplete.> in the UK. Anything I buy from them is going to fall into that > category. I have changed category in the same way so many times, and I > am getting tired of it. A similar option has been present in all versions of Money that I can remember. The exact terminology may differ, but the function is the same. Poke around and you'll be happy. -- Chris Cowles Gainesville, FL |

| For example: Waitrose, Sainsbury's and Tesco are grocery stores here in the UK. Anything I buy from them is going to fall into that category. I have changed category in the same way so many times, and I am getting tired of it. And anything I buy from iTunes can be assumed to be music unless I say otherwise... Anything from London Transport is my commuting costs etc Hope I am being clear enough - I am just a bit tired of 'repeating myself' to Money. I am interested in whether such a feature exists in Money 2007 and Money 2005 as I have not yet decided which version to use. Hope you can help! Jo ` |
