Try the actions in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/829143 statement from your financial institution into Money You could log in with your Live ID at https://moneycentral.msn.com/banking...ts/manage.aspx to see if third party connection has been happening. This dates from way before your problem started, but http://www.microsoft.com/Money/Onlin...s/default.mspx might have a technique you could try on one or more of your accounts. |

Sorry I didn't say in first msg., I'm using XP, fortunately missing the Vista agonies of some of my colleagues. Are you using XP or Vista? Are you using a software firewall such as Norton? |

| After several false starts, repairing the file *seems* to have solved the problem. Even tho repairing didn't work the first couple times, now that it has, it seemes easier than the changing accounts and other suggestions folks gave for similar problems in Feb and March. | I have not been able to update ANY of my 8 different brokerage accts with 3 different investment companies (Schwab, Morgan Stanley and TD Ameritrade) since 4/28. They all say "update in progress" at the Account list screen. When I click on "Read Call Summary Messages" and go to "Review Update Results" (Funny how the thing you click on doesn't have the same title as the screen it takes you to . . .) for each of these brokerages (Schwab, Morgan Stanley, & TD Ameritrade) it says: "Your last call was completed on 4/28/2008 at 7:35 PM "Your account information is being updated, which may take a few minutes. If this message appears for moe than five minutes, try again." Well, the message has been appearing a lot longer than five minutes, and trying again has NOT solved the problem. Since it occurred simultaneously with these 3 companies, the problem seems to be with Money, not the brokerage houses.
