| Go to Tools> Settings> Planner Settings> Reset Debt Planner. Then set your Debt plan back up. If asked if a payment has been made for any bills this month, answer YES to avoid a large payment. Let me know if this works. | I'm using MS Money 2007 Deluxe. I wanted to enter a credit card into the Debt Reduction Planner, based on the amount I want to pay per month, but Money tells me I'll be paid off by July 1 (two payments). It's somehow thinking I'm going to make a big payment on June 1. I made one of those in the beginning of May, but I'm not sure where Money is getting the figure for June, because it's not just combining the May payment with my debt reduction payment--the numbers don't add up. I thought that either the payment in my budget or the scheduled bill to the credit card might be affecting it. I can't see how to delete a budget so I just started a new one but haven't entered any data yet. I deleted the scheduled bill for the card. I closed Money and opened it several times. How can I get Money to stop thinking I'm making a huge initial payment? Thanks to anyone who has any ideas. |
