You could try the Money Deluxe trial free 60 days as a proof of concept, but you would have to provide a US address to buy it for online download (go figure). If you plan to visit the US in that interval that the trial is in use, you could buy a CD at a store. http://groups.google.com/groups?as_q...t.public.money will get some past comments of some people. :-) |

| Hi - I too am having major issues with MS Money. I had MSMoney99 on my previous computer (came installed - no CD). I had to get a new computer because my previous one died. I have been trying to get a copy of MSMoney to install but was told that they don't make it for Canada any more. There is one on the web - MS Money essentials - that looks like it is for Canadians but I can import any of my old MS Money files. I can't order any other version of MS money on line because it doesn't allow Canadians to order. I got fed up and bought Quicken BUT the imported files are coming in with the month/Day reversed and they can't tell me how to fix it. Can anyone suggest ANYTHING to help me! I have 9 years of data in MSMoney that I don't want to lose! "Keith T. Include language and date format as well. Note that during the process, a *.mn7 file should get created. That is a copy of the Money 99 file that is being converted. I would make sure you are starting with a fresh copy for each attempt. That is to say that the first time you tried to convert Money 99 file keith.mny, keith.mn7 would have been created. I don't know if keith.mny would have been modified or not. |

Check that your computer is set for Canadian regional settings before trying to convert your Canadian Money 99 file with the Money 2004 trial or Money 2005 trial method. I understand that it is probably already that way, but check anyway. If, on the other hand, if the Money 99 might have been the US version, you could try the US regional settings. If it does not work with the Money 2004 trial you could try the Money 2005 trial instead, and vice versa. Good luck. I am not very optimistic. |

| Yes, it's very old but it did what I wanted it to. I have had to reinstall my OS, and thus re-install Money 99, but since it can't download the updates that were previously installed, it can't open my old files. Can you point me to a location where I can get these updates? I have tried the trial versions of the newer versions of Money, but they won't read my files. TIA -- Keith T. Williams.
