Default Re: Roth IRA

I am using Fidelity for my Roth IRA. Concerning your other question of what
to purchase inside your IRA once you set it up. You are correct that at
your age you should be invested more in equities. Some say 100% and others
90%. Then comes the need for diversification. The Fidelity Freedom funds
(and similar funds with almost any major investment company) are set up to
address both the age and diversity questions.

Find a major fund family (TD Ameritrade, Fidelity, etc) that will not charge
you a fee to have your account with them. Then pick a fund or funds that
will allow diversity and relationship for your age. Finally keep up the
good work of on a monthly basis adding money. Ideally if you can set it up
so it goes directly from your pay check into the fund you will learn to save
for retirement.

misc.invest.financial-plan is much better place for questions of that nature. Because it is moderated, appearance of your initial posts may be slightly delayed.

I've had several accounts with Fidelity for over 10 years and don't have any
complaints.

Way too hard to answer. What do you want to hold in the way of investments?
What level of service do you want and what are you willing to spend getting
it? What relationships with FIs do you already have? Lots more questions
along these lines come to mind...
