| You may want to check the status of your Money Program at www.billing.microsoft.com if the subscription is cancelled or disabled you may as well call support to get the issue resolved as you will need a refund and will need to purchase Money Plus. If enabled uninstall the trial version again, Turn you time and date back to December 2005 and redownload the trial. When you are at the point of adding your passport (BEFORE ENTERING IT) turn your clock back to today's date and now follow the article. This should resolve your issue. I think you are saying that you saved the install file that you> with the trial version of Money 2006 only and I cannot log into my passport > account in order to download the full version of Money 2006. > I Upgraded to Money 2006 roughly a year and a half ago by downloading the > files for Money 2006 directly from Microsoft’s site. > Recently I have been having a lot of trouble with Money 2006 and after > trying to resolve it decided the best thing to do would be to uninstall and > reinstall the files I originally downloaded. downloaded back then. Good. If using Vista, I would right-click that install file and choose RunAsAdministrator. If using XP, I would try creating a new XP user with Administrator privilege. Run that install file as that user. The theory is that if the problem is an IE setting, you will get default settings for the new user. If you succeed this way, it would accomplish the download, and it would point toward the reason the other did not work. You can delete the new user later, and your regular IE settings will not have been changed. - quote - > I found a very good post here to do just that.
Does it say actually say "trial", or is it just asking for a key?> All seemed like it would go well, but it didn’t > I currently have the “trial” version of Money 2006 only. - quote - > And now I am unable to log into my passport account in order to re-download > the full version of Money 2006. > I have changed my pc’s date to be 2006 per instructions on the MS site > allowing me to get into the trial version. | In an attempt to re-install the files for Money 2006 online I am now stuck with the trial version of Money 2006 only and I cannot log into my passport account in order to download the full version of Money 2006. I Upgraded to Money 2006 roughly a year and a half ago by downloading the files for Money 2006 directly from Microsoft’s site. Recently I have been having a lot of trouble with Money 2006 and after trying to resolve it decided the best thing to do would be to uninstall and reinstall the files I originally downloaded. I found a very good post here to do just that. All seemed like it would go well, but it didn’t I currently have the “trial” version of Money 2006 only. And now I am unable to log into my passport account in order to re-download the full version of Money 2006. I have changed my pc’s date to be 2006 per instructions on the MS site allowing me to get into the trial version. However, If I change the date back to 2008 or 2007 I receive a message telling me that my trial version is already out of date. Here is the real pain about this, I am able to log into my passport account in several places including the MS Money web site. I can log into my account and see the various accounts I have set up in Money there. I need to use this same passport account as it was the one I used when I originally downloaded Money 2006. No matter what I do within in MOney 2006 I get the message "You’re sign in information could not be verified” Any suggestions to help me with this? I swear I will NEVER download software again without obtaining actual disks for just such an occasion. Thank you for any help clearing this up – I really don’t want to pay for this software again but I don’t see an alternative. |
