| If you are using Essential Register, use Advanced Register. If you are using Money Essentials (MEss) upgrade to one of the serious editions. <martin_pentreath[at]hotmail.com> wrote in message news:7449c053-3d47-4870-85c2-1673fcbe0570[at]f36g2000hsa.googlegroups.com... - quote - > I have a debit from an account associated with arranging a remortgage > on a house. | Go to the bottom of category dropdown. You'll see all the possible transfers there. Also the standard loan payment allows for allocation of principal, interest, and transfers to property tax escrow. You just need to change the names. <martin_pentreath[at]hotmail.com> wrote in message news:7449c053-3d47-4870-85c2-1673fcbe0570[at]f36g2000hsa.googlegroups.com... - quote - > I have a debit from an account associated with arranging a remortgage > on a house. | I have a debit from an account associated with arranging a remortgage on a house. Part of the sum debited is a payment of legal expenses, so it belongs in the "mortgage expenses" category. Part of it is a sum which was used to reduced the amount of the sum owed to the lender. Any suggestions for how to deal with this? The loan reduction element is effectively a transfer to the loan account, but the "split" dialogue box only allows you to allocate a "withdrawal" to different categories, it doesn't let you split an amount between a withdrawal and a transfer. |
