| I think this is the first time I've ever been thanked for an input that downloading isn't always (ever?) worth the hassle. Thanks. To your situation: if you only have a couple of months to go, entering a few transactions by hand seem a very small price to pay to get the data the way you want it. There may now be at least two of that opinion. The conundrum is that> the hassle. > "thefourthwall" wrote: > > So the questions are: *how can I change the account type and, is it > > worth the hassle? the loan has a duration of 4 years which is up in, oh, maybe 6 months ... Perhaps taking the next 3 months to manually undo what has been done is not worth the hassle ... Interesting how this version of Money is in some respects much better than previous versions and in others, no improvement appears to have been made ... |

| Hello, In MoneyPlusDeluxe I downloaded car loan transactions from the bank, with the goal being to import the data as a new account. M+D didn't recognize the import data as being for a loan but rather as a line of credit. After some struggle it just seemed easier to accept the forced account type of line of credit. It would be nice to associate the asset (Honda) with the loan, but that option's not available since the "loan" got put in as the other account type. So the questions are: how can I change the account type and, is it worth the hassle? thanks in advance, L |
