Most commonly this indicates that the file was created with a
version of Money newer than 2003.

Default MS money 2003 password problem

I saw threads that indicated that lots of folks have had problems w/passwords
while using money software... I just re-loaded 2003, and it's asking for a
password when we have never used a password before when we created the file
w/2003 money. And - like so many others, it won't accept the password that
is for our hotmail... what's up w/that?
