I don't know the QFX format, but I'd bet there's something there that will help you know what to look for in Money. If that doesn't help, edit the file replacing identifying information like names, amounts, and account numbers, and post it here. Someone might be able to help. -- Steve B. | Well, I have tried the fixes in kb 179836 for ofx files, 829143 trouble with downloads, 895866 how to reinstall and uninstall and have had no success. I would conclude that inspite of its popularity I would say money is just a very poorly developed product if it cannot provide something as simple as downloading a statement into an account. Can anyone tell me why something this common in the financial software should be impossible for Microsoft to accomplish? Similar to Frontpage being unable to display a picture. Duh. | Thank you Mark. I am trying your source unsuccessfully but at least there is something to try. | I download my credit union statement and Money 2008 says the import is complete but it does not ask which account is to accept the data and the import goes no where. I have deleted the temp files, done a quick fix on the Money file, set imports to use standard names, even downloaded the statement to my hard drive and used -file-import- to try to get it. Same thing always happens, file says "import complete" but the data is nowhrer. I have called the credit union and they say there is no problem. I have tried this process on three different XP machines with the same problem each time. the statement file is in "qfx" format and my internet file associations associate QFX with the Microsoft Money Import Handler. Does anyone know why I can't import my credit union data. all other accounts work flawlessly and this one never works. Who can I ask for help? |
