I'm happy to have found a solution for me. When I went to the update
summary page in Money, I found an error under MSN Bill Pay and it was
for my bank. I logged into MSN Bill Pay website to find my bank
account number on their website. I went to my bank area in Money and
chose Change account settings and matched the account number from MSN
Bill Pay. I had found the bank account number in Money was different
from the bank account number for MSN Bill Pay. I use a credit union,
so I had originally input the bank account in Money with a =2
extension indicating checking, not savings; now it is all numbers. I
then did an update with MSN Bill Pay. Money and MSN synced and the
payees were able to be removed because the electronic symbol had
disappeared; Money now recognizing the payees are no longer in the
list of payees at MSN Bill Pay.

I have the same problem. I've just learned to live with it, but if someone
has a solution, I'd be glad to try it..

Default Money Plus Deluxe payees persist as electronic

Payees that no longer exist anywhere in Money Plus Deluxe other than
the Set Up Your Payees window/list continue to show them as electronic
payments and cannot be deleted. Having used MSN Bill Pay service, I
have already gone into their website and removed the old payees. Now
when attempting to remove the payees, Money tells me that I must
remove them from my bank's service. I do not use my bank's bill
payment service. There appears to be disconnect between the Set Up
Your Payees window in Money and the Bill summary area. Here's why...

-Set up a new bill in the Bill summary area; say UncleJoe
-Set it for epay
-Change setting from epay to other or write check
-Delete UncleJoe From the Bill summary area
-UncleJoe continues to appear in the Set Up Your Payees list as
electronic and cannot be deleted from the list
-No payment was ever made electronically; this is just adding and
removing the payee

I contacted MS Money support with no help for the moment. It's still
be researched. I was hoping that there is a keyboard combination that
would force the payee delete, but support tells me no.

Any idea how I can remove these payees detected as electronic? The
lightening bolt appears next to them in the payee list.

Thanks
