I still split categories on both Money and Ultrasoft. I take the ATM
withdrawal as Cash Withdrawal, reconcile that entry with bank, and then
update that entry with additional splits on my Smartphone as I spend it.
You run the transaction by category report to keep your total cash
withdrawal amount (meaning uncategorized) as low as possible, ideally zero.
Money doesn't care the original source of funds and you don't have a hole in
your budget.
