Subject: Re: Error in Money background banking:

:
:Last week same problem started occurring on my system. A few times a day,
:exact same error message as reported by the OP, (The instruction at
:"0x7c910e03" ...).
:
:At about the time this began, I allowed the Google Updater to install Spyware
octor, which is part of the Google Pack
http://pack.google.com/intl/en/pack_installer.html).
:
:I removed Spyware Doctor and the problem hasn't happened since.
:
:I'm not certain this is the exact cause and effect. Spyware Doctor when it
:first ran, did something funky by copying a large group of dll files to a
:newly created folder. I was suspicious of having all those DLLs copied when I
:saw it happening, and figured some DLL might be mixed up or SD might have
:affected one of them in some way. Uninstalling SD seems to have removed that
:folder, because I can't find it anymore.

Check back when you are less disturbed.

Default Background Banking problems

I find it disturbing that Microsoft (with all its BILLIONS) has to charge 40-50.00 for assistance for users to get answers to Microsofts own problems. I get the error msg just as many do and cannot find out where/how to eliminate it. No wonder my son (with a Masters in Computer Science) never uses Microsoft!

That was my impression as well... lots of theories as to cause and
solutions.

On Tools-> InternetUpdates-> CustomizeUpdates there is a checkbox to
control that. Remember to click OK in the far lower right if you
change the box. If the box is set, mnybbsvc.exe, the background
banking service, is run. If you open a Money file where the checkbox
is cleared, mnybbsvc.exe ends.

I did search for this error but nothing is specific, it seems many people
face this error with other products as well.

Well, how can I shut off the Background Banking service? as I couldn't find
an option in the version I'm using.

Do a search for "0x7c910e03" in your favorite search engine. One of
the discussions may lead you to a solution.

Otherwise, would you like to know how to have background banking
mnybb.exe not start?

Default Microsoft Money Background Banking: mnybb.exe - Application Error

I have installed Microsoft Money Plus Home & Business few days ago, now every
30 minutes a window appears with the following error message:

"The instruction at "0x7c910e03" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The
memory could not be "written".
Click on OK to terminate the program"

I noticed also that when I close Money the service mnybb.exe remains running
and exahusting my CPU.

Here is my system details:
Windows XP SP2
1 GB RAM
Microsoft Money Plus Home & Business Version 17.0.150.1415

Any clue how can i get over this problem?

Cheers
Moha
