Perfect! That was my mistake, putting the file in the program area. Many
thanks!

Be sure that your Money and backup files are moved to a spot that
you will have full privileges to, such as Documents/MyDocuments.
If they are in a place like ProgramFiles, Vista will create an
impermanent copy of the file for the user to use, unless the user
explicitly right-clicks at launch and choose RunAsAdministrator
that time.

Check that the SSL2 protocol is enabled. That checkbox is in
IE Tools-> InternetOptions-> Advanced. It may also be necessary
to disable TLS 1.0.

Right-click the Money icon and choose RunAsAdministrator once to let
possible updates happen. Then reboot the computer.

Default Money 2004 & Vista

I've just tried to load Money 2004 on my new computer. I transferred the
..mny file I had from my XP computer but I'm having a problem.

Everytime I go in an make an update, it doesn't seem to save it...... It
reverts to the original file. Why won't it save the updates? This is driving
me nuts. Any help gratefully received!
