I've answered this a few times during the last 6-12 months: Price history> resolves this issue? Help Please! > -Mike contains only one event per day. Opening "Update Prices > Manually", then deleting the "update" or "online" entry for that day, then changing the buy/sell/whatever transaction in the investment register (rolling the date forward/backward should be sufficient) will create the proper entry in price history, which will allow the events to show up in the reports. If you need to edit a substantial number of price entries, it would probably be safest to do so in a copy of your Money file. Most of my investments are 401k funds that I update manually, so I avoid this issue by not updating whenever transactions go through. Investments that Money updates online automatically are more problematic. Money 2004 seems to handle automatic price updates better (I don't end up with copies of Friday's prices on Saturday and Sunday anymore), but I won't know if this problem has been addressed until I get my next dividend reinvestment in late November. You can find my past posts on this subject by going to groups.google.com, then searching for this newsgroup and my name. -- Scott Tyler agent_scotty-at-hotmail-dot-com PS: You probably ought to "munge" your email address, as I have. In addition to the usual spam, you are opening yourself up to being flooded with the Swen.A worm by posting your real email address. |

| Hello group, I am using MS Money 2003 Deluxe... for many years I have owned sheres in "Company A", recently I decided to diversify my portfolio and purchased shares of "Mutual Fund A", "Mutual Fund B", and "Company B". Now the price history report has always (and currently does) show the buy and split events for "Company A". The problem lies with "Mutual Fund A", "Mutual Fund B", and "Company B", their buy events do not show-up on the report. I have zoomed all the way out to All Dates, and can see the buy and split events for "Company A", but there are just price change lines for "Mutual Fund A", "Mutual Fund B", and "Company B". Your assistance in helping to resolve this matter would be most appreciated, -Mike |
