| Not yet. It seems to be in their plans, though. The "online services policy" in M+ (what we were conditioned to think of as M2008) now says: "To continue using online Services after the expiration period, end users will either need to upgrade to the then-current version of Microsoft Money, or purchase an extension of the Online Services if Microsoft makes such extension available." Of course, this also suggests that they will get money for the services and will no longer need to do anything to maintain and/or (heaven forbid) improve the product to keep the revenue stream flowing their way. | It would be a good feature to just pay for the online services. The only option at this time is to upgrade to Money Plus Deluxe. This will conevrt the file to the newest version of Money Plus. (2008 ) Hope this helps . Bert "fwvagabond" wrote: - quote - > I bougtht Money 2004 Deluxe a few years back. | I bougtht Money 2004 Deluxe a few years back. Never used it until recently. Last night I updated the software (not transactions, etc) and upon reboot, I could no longer use the Update Prices feature that fetches securities prices automatically. Did some research and looked like it was because 2004's Online Services would have ended on 9/1/2007. Apparently that software update triggered this. Money website says if this happens, upgrade to the current version of Money. However is there anyway that I just pay for the Online Services without upgrading to Money 2008? Thanks for your reponse. |
