Default Re: update error

Cal, I have followed these steps and also others listed in Solution Center to
no avail. All is fine except Wachovia. It shows I have items to review, but
they do not show in register. I have stopped Online Services and restarted a
swell as steps here. This problem began after the MsMoney update that most
recently came out. Any other thoughts/ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Yes it was with the LGEFCU which uses the same resources. I am in the
process of working with MM support to try to get this fixed. I wish they
would have put some message on the main board about shutting down because if
they did I did not see it and I go to their website almost every day.

jrhammerjr13 - any chance its the State Employee's Credit Union in NC? I had
the exact same problem last night after receiving the MS Money update. I was
getting a OFXHTTP500 error (see my earlier posts from 3/24)

After working with MS Helpdesk folks and trying to create new accounts and
realizing what a disaster it would be to merge / realign all my accounts I
tried to disable on-line account access for the problem accounts and then set
them back up. This worked, can now sync to accounts.

however, today I noticed I was getting updates, but they were not showing in
the registers.... I had to do the trick Cal suggested earlier in this post
(delete temp files, do the "QuickRepair" and such) and now all seems well...
not sure if this alone would have fixed my issue or not...

best of luck

I don't know if any of these will help. Let us know. See if you can
right-click whatever it says in the ToReview column and right-click
and choose Delete.

Proceed as if you are trying to download statements within Money and
hold down Ctrl+Shift keys and click Cancel.

In Internet Explorer delete your browser temporary files with
Tools-> InternetOptions-> DeleteFiles or
Tools-> InternetOptions-> Delete-> DeleteFiles.

Then in Money do File-> RepairMoneyFile-> QuickFileRepair again.

Then go to Tools-> Settings-> OnlineServiceSetting and
select ShowStandardizedPayeeNamesForWhichANameIsNotFound.

Download again.

No it is a local credit union here in NC. I know what caused it not to
update but I cannot clear the update in progress showing in MM to be able to
fix the problem

Hi
is it Nationwide you have problems with? I have used Money with no download
issues until last week. Nationwide say the problem is at their end?

Default update error

My bank did maintenance on the site which caused a problem in updating
accounts. I have been in contact with them and they gave me instructions on
how to fix this. They said I needed to stop online services and then set up
online services again. My problem is when I go under manage online services
and then choose my bank and choose stop online services, nothing happens. I
think this is due to the fact that on the account list screen it says update
in process next to all the accounts at this bank. Is there a way to stop the
current update in process so that I can cancel the online service? I am
using MM2006 Deluxe with Windows XP
