| No good, same thing happens. I ran the install as an admin and then ran money as an admin. The version on my old PC is 15.0.50.513 and the one that I downloaded today is 15.0.6.513 Just trying to think of something that might help. | Yes it says 2005 SSL 2.0 was not enabled. I have enabled it and now I will try installing once more (I have already uninstalled it). I will make sure I run the install as administrator. I will let you know how it goes. Check that the SSL2 protocol is enabled. That checkbox is in> MS Money 2006. Any ideas? IE Tools-> InternetOptions-> Advanced. I wonder if you have some kind of program limiting access. Are you running Norton by chance? Note that when you installed, you should have run the setup with RunAsAdministrator too. - quote - > "Cal Learner-- MVP" wrote: > > In microsoft.public.money, RayGo1975 wrote: > > > > Computer: Dell Vostro 1500 > > > OS: Microsoft Vista SP1 > > > Program: MS Money 2006 Version 15.0.6.513 > > > > > I just installed MS Money 2006 on my new computer and it works just fine. > > > The only problem I have is that every time I start MS Money it comes up with > > > the message that it is downloading updates. | Computer: Dell Vostro 1500 OS: Microsoft Vista SP1 Program: MS Money 2006 Version 15.0.6.513 I just installed MS Money 2006 on my new computer and it works just fine. The only problem I have is that every time I start MS Money it comes up with the message that it is downloading updates. After i click on OK the following message appears: "Your Money software requires an update before you can install the update you need to close money, log on to windows as a member of the Administrators group and then restart Money" I am the only users installed on this PC so I know I am an administrator. Any help would be appreciated. |
