Having the issues but found an interesting situation. I have Money Plus on a
Windows 2008 server x86 which crashes at every execution but when I installed
the eval version, dated 3/24/2008, it worked great. I then installed Money
Plus on top of the eval but the problem returned (I guess I kind of expected
it). Now I know it works based on the eval but I've always been frustrated by
the Money team to not posting updates in Windows Update or a web page for
those of us having trouble might download.

As you can image webmaster[at]poweradz.co.uk, we are very interested in
understanding how you achieved this download on a system that won't launch
the application required to receive the update.

Also, MS Money team, please consider our request and plea, post a fix.
Besides personal use I would like to know I could run this on our internal TS
servers.

I've tried installing and running with the administrator account, and still
no luck. When attempting to run the installed program, it shuts down
immediately when it starts to load. Event Viewer reveals the following
error:

Faulting application msmoney.exe, version 17.0.0.724, time stamp 0x46a6d80b,
faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, time stamp 0x00000000, exception
code 0xc0000096, fault offset 0x02dd3aa8, process id 0x354, application
start time 0x01c88a334bdd0231.

Though I do not know if it is related, further back in the logs, I see there
was a warning during installation:

Product: Microsoft Money Shared Libraries. The application tried to install
a more recent version of the protected Windows file
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\IdentityCRL\ppcrlconfig.d ll. You may need to
update your operating system for this application to work correctly.
(Package Version: 3.200.4153.0, Operating System Protected Version:
3.200.4152.0).

I also noticed that while installing, the progress thermometer jumped from
about the 20% mark directly to 100%. Though it did say the product was
successfully installed, it seems like a large portion of the installation
routine was skipped.

According to the Money Plus system requirements --

- it should work on 64-bit versions of Vista. Therefore, I would think it
should work on WS 2008 x64 as well. Anyone have any ideas?
