| Yes it does depend upon the FI (or specifically the Bill Payment service, since you or the FI might be using CheckFree or MSN Bill Pay). Typically they require a 1-5 day lead time depending upon the payee (some can be paid via electronic funds transfer, others require a physical check mailed to them). The first payment to any payee should be given at least a weeks lead time though so that the Bill Payment service can process this new payee. -Mark "Bob Peel, MVP" <bob_peel[at]kiandra.freeserve.co.uk.INVALID> wrote in message news:OFEzHMeiIHA.4396[at]TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl... - quote - > You answered your own question. | Hi all: The answer to this question probably varies depending upon one's banking institution but I'll ask the question anyway... :-) Typically how far ahead of the actual due date of bill should we schedule payment of that bill in Money when paying online using a bill pay service? Thanks -Mike |
