Default Re: How far ahead of due date?

Yes it does depend upon the FI (or specifically the Bill Payment service,
since you or the FI might be using CheckFree or MSN Bill Pay).
Typically they require a 1-5 day lead time depending upon the payee (some
can be paid via electronic funds transfer, others require a physical check
mailed to them). The first payment to any payee should be given at least a
weeks lead time though so that the Bill Payment service can process this new
payee.

Default How far ahead of due date?

Hi all:

The answer to this question probably varies depending upon one's banking
institution but I'll ask the question anyway... :-)

Typically how far ahead of the actual due date of bill should we schedule
payment of that bill in Money when paying online using a bill pay service?

Thanks

-Mike
