Restore what? The "as installed" Money needs to get a software update before it will work with your backup file and the only way to do that is to perform an online update. Lots of people overlook that. | RE: restore backup in 2004 Sounds like the file is damaged. If you have another file , try to restoring again. Are you ussing Money 2004 to restore the file ? Make sure the file is not read only. Copy the file to the desk top. Right click on the file go to properties> make sure read only or hidden are not checked apply ok Try to restore file to diffrent location > select browse > try My Documents .
