Default Re: Money '07 crash on exit

Money suddenly healed itself. I uninstalled IE 8 and went back to IE 7. It's
all good now.

I would contact Microsoft support directly. Click
Help-> MoneySolutionCenter-> Contact. Have your serial number ready.

Thanksfor the help. I failed miserably. I uninstalled Money '07 and followed
the instructions. It worked twice and I thought it was good but crashed the
third time and every time thereafter. I uninstalled again and tried Money '08
with the same results and then back to Money '07 deja vu :|

See Cal Learner's post (frequent post!) copied below.

Be sure that your Money and backup files are moved to a spot that
you will have full privileges to, such as within the user's
Documents folder. If they are in ProgramFiles, Vista will create
an impermanent copy of the file for the user to use, unless the
user explicitly right-clicks at launch and choose
RunAsAdministrator that time.

Check that the SSL2 protocol is enabled. That checkbox is in IE
Tools-> InternetOptions-> Advanced.

Install Money from the Money Plus by browsing to the setup file.
Right-click that file, and choose RunAsAdministrator.

After install, right-click the Money icon and choose
RunAsAdministrator to let potential updates happen. Reboot the
computer. You should not have to run as Administrator normally.

When you restore, don't restore to the default location. Instead
Browse to your Documents folder and restore there.

Once in your file, also change your backup path from
"C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\" to
"C:\Users\username\Documents\"

I do not respond to any emails that I have not specifically asked for.

Default Money '07 crash on exit

I just did a clean re-install of my Vista Ultimate X64. Money '07 Deluxe
worked fine before I re-installed. Now it crashes on exit and will not launch
again until I log off or end the msmoney.exe process in the Task Manager. I
uninstalled it, cleaned my system and tried Money Plus '08 to no avail.

This is the detail error;
Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: msmoney.exe
Application Version: 16.0.0.1303
Application Timestamp: 459cb23b
Fault Module Name: StackHash_8d13
Fault Module Version: 0.0.0.0
Fault Module Timestamp: 00000000
Exception Code: c0000005
Exception Offset: 00000000
OS Version: 6.0.6000.2.0.0.256.1
Locale ID: 1033
Additional Information 1: 8d13
Additional Information 2: cdca9b1d21d12b77d84f02df48e34311
Additional Information 3: 8d13
Additional Information 4: cdca9b1d21d12b77d84f02df48e34311

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
