Are you using the paycheck wizard? Initiate the deposit in your checking
account. Categorize it using the special category named 'Paycheck'. That may
require use of Advanced register, which may require use of something other
than Money Essential. Within the paycheck details, put deposits into savings
on the Deductions after Taxes tab.

Default Split Transaction in Deposit

I currently have set up payroll deposit transactions for my wife and I, as
well as separate transfers of payroll funds from our savings account to our
checking and other savings accounts.

When I attempt to set up a split transaction that includes the transfers
with the deposits, the transfers show up as from the other accounts into our
savings account.

I'm sure it is something simple, but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong
and how to correct it.
