Default Re: Mutual Fund Captal Gains, Individual lot cost basis

Thank you, Cal. This completely answered my question. I first tried to get
the anser from Microsoft Money email help but they said it was a limitation
of Money and couldn't be changed. What a joke their help is!

Go to the Investment Details by right-clicking any reference. Select
CostBasis to ActualCostBasis.

Default Mutual Fund Captal Gains, Individual lot cost basis

I want to sell individual lots of shares of a mutual fund to calculate the
capital gains rather than using FIFO or average cost. The problem is, that
no matter what I do, I keep getting an average cost as the basis. I am using
Money Plus deluxe 2008. The Investment settings seem to be set correctly.
Anyone know of a solution? I want to use the individual lot cost instead of
the average cost to determine the capital gains.
