That's because you've only been using it for four years <g
In 2000, after I had been using it for a number of years, I wrote:

"Each upgrade seems to bring on new bugs, and Microsoft rarely fixes
them. Sometimes they claim they are a "feature". "

and in 2004:

"Since M99, they have added no new features that I use; they have not fixed any
bugs that affect me; they have introduced new bugs; and they have removed
features which I were useful to me."

I'm presently using M2007, and I see no reason to change what I've written in
the past on this topic.

I would prefer to change the details for the account to match that
of the new broker.

Yep.

Your favorite bugs should take priority over mine? ;-)

Thanks Cal, that works fine.

However, it causes me to reflect on the fact that in the 4 years since
I started using Money, the software has very little new in it, has
things like this that get taken away, and still has these atrocious
bugs/limitations that you spend lots of time giving people workarounds
for. Like the fact that when one transfers securities to another
account all the cost basis info is lost (although strangely enough lot
information is still there). And I have some other pet peeves.

Is there a way to report bugs that gets them at least put on the
internal list? I've wasted a lot of time with phone support, and when
I'm done I'm not even sure that the bugs get reported.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You could customize a Portfolio view to get rid of the other
columns. Sort by position, and include closed positions and watch
accounts.

Default Way to get list of securities?

I know I used to do this in M2004, but can't seem to find it in M2007.
Just a list of securities, names with ticker symbols.

Does it still exist? and if so where?

Thanks
