I don't use too many but it helps to categorize broadly like, healthcare, housing, transportation, and the like. I manage my Mom's money and she's on the brink of moving into an assisted living facility. Categorizing her budget into groups of expenses that will remain after the move (healthcare) and those that won't (housing) make it much easier to see a big picture. -- Chris Cowles Gainesville, FL |

| Is there any significance to the various sub-groups in the Advanced Budget screen in MM+? For example, the sub headings "Debt", "Entertainment", "Family", "Food", "Taxes", etc, just to name a few, to me are a pain. I would rather have only 2 master groups; Income and Expenses, and there respective catagories listed in assending order in each. Is there any reason I can't do away with all the sub-groups?? -- Kelsey |
