You would edit the OFX file with a text editor such as Notepad.

How do you change the currency? I obtained MnyBank and the columns with data
are trntype, dtposted, checknum, trnamt, name, memo, fitid. I don't see any
column for currency type. When I asked the bank (BMO), there response was
that they were not aware of any problems with statement downloads.

Make sure that you had changed the base currency of that US account to
US first?

I guess you could edit the OFX file to change the CAD to USD in the
OFX file.

Consider this experimental, and keep extra copies/backups for your
experiment.

Default error importing USD OFX into Money 2006

I use Money 2006 standard edition. All accounts are in Canadian dollars
except a USD savings account. All the accounts are with Bank of Montreal.
When I download the statement files they import correct except the USD
account which generates a message saying the file contains transactions in
CAD and I need to change the account settings to CAD. How can I fix that?
