How can i get into money again and have access to my data? The version of Money installed must be as new or newer than the version that made the file. Some versions give a bogus password indication when the real problem is that the Money file is from a version of Money that is newer than the installed version. Money 2005 is a special case. Either open the sample.mny file in your install folder, or let Money 2005 create a new Money file, clicking Decline in the process. It will do an update. Close Money. Then open Money and check that Help-> About... says you then have version 14.0.*.1105. Then you should be able to open or restore your existing files. |
