In the newer versions it will not continue to download to the closed account. The only thing I would add is that you can right-click if it says you have TransactionsToRead and delete the statement that was downloaded initially. You can set the AccountList to show closed accounts or not. |

| Is there a way to merge duplicate accounts that are both enabled for online updates? I have logins at a broker - one for me and another for my wife. We each have our own retirement accounts but we share a taxable account. To get automatic updates from the broker requires that I import all accounts associate with the login. For me that is my retirement account and the taxable account and for my wife it is a different retirement account and the same taxable account. Both logins are providing online updates to the same taxable account but I can't mark them as duplicate because they are both receiving online updates. Microsoft Money doesn't provide the ability to disable online updates for just one account. It only allows you to disable online updates for the whole login. What should I do? For the moment I've just marked the duplicate as "closed". |
