What's strange is that I just downloaded my transactions again after reverted
to a backup file, and this time the only transactions that came through were
those that had not previously been downloaded. I suspsect that the file knew
that all other transactions had been downloaded previously, and thus ignored
them.

When you archive, those transactions get removed from your Money file,
so it's not surprising that it would attempt to re-download them. So
even if those transactions were previously reconciled, I believe to
Money, it's as if they never existed. What's strange is that it would
do it for one account but not the others. Perhaps some FI servers keep
track of data that has already been downloaded and others rely on Money
to track that?

I recently archived my 2007 data for checking, credit card and other
accounts. When downloading new transactions last night, I received over 200
transactions from my checking account, all of which were previously
reconciled. Did not get the same result from any other accounts I archived.
Results was to revert to a back-up file rather than try to clean up the mess.

Any explanation for why I received these transactions? And how to avoid
them at the next download? I use Money 2007.
