As all of your transactions and communications are by credit card and e-mail, using a non-functionning USA address should not cause you (or MS) any problems (unless, of course, there is a mailed rebate involved). -- Peace, BobJ - quote - > You likely could File|Export transaction data in Loose QIF from the M+ > trial and import it to the M05 UK. | The problem is that your M+ data file is not backward compatible with the older version in two separate ways. First, every Money version changes the format slightly to one the old version won't play with. Second, Money files from one localization--say M+ for UK IF THERE WERE ONE--don't work with other localizations--in your case of the trial M+ for US. At this point your only solution that saves all of the data you've collected is finding a way to import a copy of M+ for US. You likely could File|Export transaction data in Loose QIF from the M+ trial and import it to the M05 UK. You would have to import all the exported files--they export one account at a time--simultaneously to keep the Transfers sane. There may be other issues going cross localization related to default currencies or similar. I also don't know if File|Export will work on an expired trial installation. | Hi, I am in the UK and have just finished my free trial of Money Plus in the UK. I now realise I cannot buy it from the Microsoft site as I don't live in the US or Peurto Rico. I bought and installed Money 2005 but it won't open the Money Plus file without asking for a password. The file is NOT password protected. Any ideas? Other than buying Money Plus from Amazon in the US, or exporting each account from Plus and importing it into 2005? Ta, Mark PS I have just spoken to MS in the UK and the distinct impression is that Plus will not be released in the UK at all. |
