IF you have a message for "Redmond", I suggest you direct it to them, rather> PNC account was being cut off in the new version of Money. | No one from MS ever responds on this forum. It essentially is to get work arounds from users that previously experienced problems and are willing to share solutions or explain particular details. If your desire is an actual code fix, you won't find any satisfaction here. | About a month ago I posted a simple query here. The transaction data from my PNC account was being cut off in the new version of Money. Could something be done. The replies were derision from troll Chris Cowels and half assed semi workarounds from the so called MVPs. It took me 2 minutes to open the OFX file and find that the useful data describing the transaction was right there in a Memo field. For reasons passing understanding this field is inaccessible in Money and thus my transactions are doomed to the obscurity of the first 20 gibberish digits. Even a crappy Java program like MoneyDance can handle this. As a .Net developer of 7 years I normally cheerlead for MS but I've been disappointed by the shoddy crap coming from Redmond in recent years. All the money and coders with doctorates should be able to do better. Get your act together. |
