Default Re: New loan established entry needs to have category

Personally, I'd probably leave it alone and/or add a memo that indicates the
Loan Account it relates to. I've also used an Income Category I created:
Other Income : Loan Proceeds Received. There is no one right answer
especially given that Money makes it very difficult to recognize the cash
flow associated with originating a Loan as some kind of Transfer.
