| Thanks, what about my personalized reports? And yes, I know that Money 2004 is out... But I have a copy of Money 2003 already, that I haven't installed since my old PC was "full". And Money 2001 actually works well for me anyway. Any new functionality you think I'll notice and enjoy especially (yes - I know of the comparision at the MS website)? regards /Johan Myrberger Bob Peel, MVP wrote: - quote - > You have basically got it. | You have basically got it. The *.mny file has nearly all you need. What doesn't get carried across are some of the Options so best to make a note or have the old PC available so that you can read the old options and type into the new one. To migrate you can either navigate to the location of the *.mny file and double click on it or just open up Money. BTW as M2004 has just been released have you considered upgrading to that rather than M2003? -- Regards Bob Peel, Microsoft MVP - Money Hints/Tips http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=fh;EN-GB;mny UK Wishes/Suggestions mnyukwsh[at]microsoft.com "Johan Myrberger" <johan.myrberger[at]nothome.se> wrote in message news:3F6EBEFC.9F4[at]nothome.se... - quote - > Hi, > I'm just about to migrate from Money 2001 to Money 2003. > Money 2003 will be installed on a new PC. > Any hints on what I should have in mind? | Hi, I'm just about to migrate from Money 2001 to Money 2003. Money 2003 will be installed on a new PC. Any hints on what I should have in mind? I hope that migrating the data will be achieved by copying the .mny file. Will this get all data, or is there a risk that I lose something? How do I migrate the .mny file from Money 2001 into a version for Money 2003? regards /Johan Myrberger |
