This will not do what you want, but it should help a little:

Add the Payees shortcut if you have not yet done so. Then click
Payees-> GoToPayeeRulesManager. Also click on GoToPayeeRulesManager.
Your downloaded transactions are coming with a generic term where
the Payee should be. Excluded Payee Names identifies words and
phrases that should be ignored from the payee field (e.g., check,
deposit). Add words that are generically added by your bank,
including DEBIT CARD. That way, at least Money will not be taking
an irrelevant guess as to who the actual Payee is.

Then select Tools-> Settings-> OnlineServices-> ReplacePayeeNames....
Also select
Tools-> Settings-> OnlineServices-> AddADescriptionToTheMemoField to
make it so you can see the memo.

Default Citibank Changes and Wrong Catagories

Seems that Citibank or possibly other banks have changed the way they format
the Multi.ofx download.

The infomation fields = Name and Memo are inverted. Naturally, the
information when imported wind up in the wrong fields. My inquiry to
Citibank falls on deaf ears. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced
this.

Also, how can I prevent the category from being updated with wrong
information? All imports for DEBIT CARD are listed as groceries.

Thanks in advance
