Hi Cal,

At the Regional and Language Option, I changed the language to English, it
was Portuguese, and it worked. Also, one of the OFX files had several spaces
between the Tag and the Amount (<TRNAMT> -16.25), deleted the spaces and it
worked too.

Now, if I could just figure out how to convert a HTM file into a OFX or Qif
file I will be set.

That should not matter for OFX, but would matter with QIF. Within
OFX it is always yyyyMMdd.....

I still suggest posting maybe the first 80 characters or first two
lines of your file to make sure of what you have.


Money takes its date format info from the OS, and by changing
regional settings, you can change those.

Is there a way to import an excel file into money? or to convert an excel

they are OFX Files. I used to be able to import them using Money 2003, after
I upgraded to 2007 it no longer worked. There is one other problem that I am
not sure if it is related, but I can not change my accounts from Advanced to
Essential. it doesn't give an error message, it just doesn't do it.

Yes, I did change the online setting to
ShowStandardizedPayeeNamesForWhichANameIsNotFound, but it did not work
either. The box had already been checked.

I have uninstalled 2007 and installed the 2003 version again and it worked.
But I upgraded to 2007 and it stopped working, again.

I have my Brazilian and American bank accounts being into MS Money. I can
connect to American Express and other banking institutions and automatically
download the transactions, but if I download the OFX or QIF file and try to
import it, it doesn't work either; I get the same message.

I have also tried to install MS Money 2007, without doing an upgrade, and
setup the account from scratch too, and still it did not work.

Let me know if there is anything else I could do. Thank you for helping out.

Try going to Tools-> Settings-> OnlineServiceSetting
and select ShowStandardizedPayeeNamesForWhichANameIsNotFound.
