In Money 98, it was very common for one invalid or corrupt symbol to cause
the entire download to fail. You will need to troubleshoot by unchecking
half of the quotes to download and keep cutting each set in half until you
find the one or few symbols are are corrupting the download. For instance,
uncheck the last 17-18 of the investments and try to download quotes. If
you still get the error, the invalid or corrupt symbol was still selected to
download. If you don't get the error, the bad symbol was in the ones that
you unchecked. Once you identify the bad symbol or symbols, go to the
investment details and remove the symbol.

Is there information available with respect to how many
symbols (accounts) Money 98 can handle when you go to
online quotes to update the your investments. In my case,
I had 35 accounts (symbols) in my Money 98 program and
suddenly without adding any additional accounts (symbols)
got an error message saying that 32 symbols were invalid.
As a consequence I couldn't receive any updates.

Any new thoughts?
